Genuine question: Why does one take I have on an animated video game movie bother you so much?

Also, I'm not against the idea of Luigi getting kidnapped, I just wish he didn't feel like a punching bag with nothing to do for most of the movie and that we had more great Mario+Luigi moments.

I also loved how they expanded Peach's backstory and it really added to what they teased in the first movie.

HOWEVER,

it hurts to say it but the way they handled one particular character REALLY just didn't work for me. It kinda made one of the best parts in the trailers a lie:(

The movie is a really good time, better than the first. It fixes some problems like Luigi not having much to do and there's only 1 pop song(I think)

The Galaxy stuff is great too and there's thankfully enough of it to justify the name. Yoshi, Rosalina, Fox, and Bowser Jr. were all great additions!
