This week is Black Maternal Health Week — and Black women are still being ignored, dismissed, and disrespected, especially during pregnancy and childbirth.
Over 80% of these deaths didn’t have to happen. This is your reminder to listen to Black women.
Look at all that DEI sending astronauts around the moon.
To those still complaining about Artemis 2:
We spend 100× more on killing people for oil profits, but yeah, NASA’s the problem. 🤦🏽♀️
NASA: $25B

I know there's a lot going on
But what the US is doing to Cuba is unconscionable
We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Sandra Pyke. Dr. Pyke was a trailblazing feminist psychologist with a respected and admired professional career.
The university's report, commissioned more than two years ago in the wake of a ProPublica investigation, details a culture of silence that allowed OB-GYN Robert Hadden to abuse more than 1,000 patients during his nearly 25-year career at Columbia.
I cannot adequately explain how fucked up the World Cup situation is wihen the president of a host nation *threatens the safety* of one of the participants (Iran).
The USA should be removed as a host nation and if it's not, the games shoud be boycotted and ANYONE WITH A MORAL CENTER should see that.
That response went for the jugular
Today on International Women's Day, and everyday, we celebrate the extraordinary women that help psychological practice, science, and education thrive - particularly those women who have come before and left legacies that continue to shape us to this day.
“Professionals” healing trauma with rocks, sounds or energy enters the chat.
Honestly, I still don’t understand how people can fall for this nonsense.
@mark-carney.bsky.social , honestly read the room.
Unpopular opinion 🫣
Attacking a Muslim country during the holy month of Ramadan is essentially the equivalent of striking a Christian country during Christmas.
Imagine the reactions if the roles were exchanged.
Can you imagine? 1 out of 3 videos on social media media are misleading… this is extremely concerning, specially for those who are more vulnerable

To all my younger colleagues, I wish you the very best. I hope you manage to get a good night’s sleep tonight.
I was in your shoes five years ago. Even though I didn’t match to my first choice, I completed my residency in a school setting with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.

@canadianpsychology.bsky.social these ribbons are 🔥! Can we have this for our 87th conference 🙏🏼
@julielajoie13.bsky.social I agree with everything you said, except for one thing. Killing people does not equal mental illness. In some cases it is true, but most are not.
@tedlieu.bsky.social I salute your courage to speak up. People need to be accountable for their actions.
Rien à rajouter ! C’est si simple 🙃
This was not a good decision. It is okay to make mistakes, but waiting too long before making a change can have a detrimental effect on people’s lives. @mark-carney.bsky.social
