I think people who think that way should probably be honest with themselves that delivering "hard truths" to people who didn't vote Democrat in 2024 is more about making themselves feel better, not about trying to get those people to vote Democrat in 2028.
I assure you that telling someone "The truth hurts sometimes, but it's time to pull up the big boy and girl pants and start adulting" will make them want to do the polar opposite of whatever it is you're asking them to do. It's a truly insane strategy.

Hospitals have NO excuse and must return to providing care under many blue state laws.
