This is a really great shot. That movement in the frame is so unique.

I think this worked out pretty well with a curved window and the Noble swinging lens.

I had some free time and wanted to shoot the 8x10 so I figured the hallway hats would work.

I’ve always been a fan of ultra-wide views. Naturally when I started with 8x10 I was on the quest for the widest I could reasonably go on the Wehman. I think 110mm is where I landed.

@johnfar.com here is a comparison I did last summer.
The light wasn’t great but I had committed to myself I was going to shoot something with the 8x10 so here it is.

I was “XPAN is my one and only” until I started to shoot the swing lens cameras and I’m currently about that same shooting ratio with the Noblex vs XPAN. Just such a different look.
I always enjoy these comparison shots. That widelux sure is wide.
I see these two trees on my run and thought they would make for a nice picture.

Can't forget some lemma conversions
It has been a while since I've worked on some metadata quality interfaces. I'm currently playing around with keyword interfaces.

I forget that this guy gets me more attention from people while walking around the city than most of the other cameras I shoot.
I agree. These Wehman cameras were unique.
At least the time change means after dinner photos are possible.

Remembering that time when I picked up 25 rolls of Provia 100F for 4.25 a roll. Man 2018 was wild.
Haha you would have way more experience with that than we do down here in Texas!
Thinking about Stuart Klipper working with a Linhof 617 in the future polar regions. I’m barely able to reload film and it’s just 15 f outside.

Never enough 6x12!
Because folks like pictures of cameras and lenses, at least I know I do, here is another from yesterday.
This time a Fujinon-C 450mm f/12.5 on the Wehman 8x10.
Giving the Schneider Super-Symmar XL 110mm f/5.6 a try on the Wehman 8x10.
We will see how this turns out.
Oh I really like this one. Nice job.
I enjoyed watching these two birds flying in the distance.
This is on US 87 near Des Moines New Mexico. It is one of my favorite drives.

The Going-to-the-Sun road in Glacier National Park lived up to its reputation. The light wasn't great and there was a haze from smoke, but I still had fun.
