Just Mercy is one of the most important books I have ever read. Truly an honor to hear Bryan Stevenson speak at #NCTE24 this morning. One of many gems important in this moment:
“We are denying the beauty of justice when we refuse to tell the truth.”

I feel like you had to be a certain age to even know who Lorena Bobbitt is 😂😂 The people around me seemed confused. They should’ve checked out the interpreter!!
