Shmed was my pal. Ryan Maynes. We went to high school together in LA, LACHSA, and had our first cigarette together on the roof of our pal Denis’s apartment in Park LaBrea. He wrote a song called TOAST, and in the chorus, everyone would shout: “TOAST!”. Glad you knew him Hank.
