I took this a few years ago with an old phone. West Texas can have some pretty nasty storms.

Learned something new this week - linocut style art in #AdobeIllustrator and I LOVE it! This is pretty versatile. Each stoke style makes the final image look different. In short, there’s no one way to accomplish or present each element. At any rate, there will be more exploration.

“A.I. makes art accessible.” Art has always been accessible. There was like a six month period where I drew all the sketches for my comics with a lined notebook from the grocery store and a random green marker.
The water themed vector pattern design.
Stills from the animation.
Some additional work done for the Art Club water theme study with @maddybellwoar.com in March. The animation was because Maddy’s birthday was last month. I also did a vector water design pattern. It was a very creative month!

I didn’t have an issue with the mouth less characters. The stache is definitely a paid actor. LOL But, I’ll enjoy/learn with or without the moving mouth.

Revived my weekly stream! Catch me on Saturdays at 12pm Eastern (New York). Currently, I’m streaming once a week, but will be doing pop-up streams here and there.

Big purple flowers in a pink vase with a random design on the vase. To the right sits a green cup with a rainbow and the words “Happy Lives Here” underneath the rainbow. A single stream of steam is above the cup. Both the vase with flowers and cup sits in an oblong shaped window frame. Two clouds and a sun are seen in the sky and the wallpaper on the wall has a very faint wavy pattern.
Closeup of the green cup with the steam. A rainbow with “Happy Lives Here” and a flower.
Outline view of the vector work.
Finally finished up a vector doodle from 2023. 😅 Just something whimsical. I think I’m in a winsome mood currently. Whimsy is good, especially with how the current climate is.

Framed digital painting of a pink salt lake based on the pink salt water bodies of Namibia. There’s white salt crystals and foam at the shoreline with small rocks and pebbles. Large rocks/boulders are in the foreground.
Water study I started on my stream last weekend. Finally finished - it was the rocks’ fault. 😅
😊☺️ that puts a huge smile on my face!
Thank you kindly!
Hand lettering doodles. Playing around with block style variations and textures for a little razzle dazzle.
Digital painting of a distant pier with rippling water in the foreground; an early sunset sky in the background.
Thursday night’s doodle. A water study for the Art Club with @maddybellwoar.com . It was a good time!
fall back, spring forward. now slide to the left, now slide to the right
Back in town with some spectacular new signed prints available
Today’s practice animation - word morphing. I made it a little harder than it needed to be, but proceeded anyway. This is my first attempt at it; I like it overall. I had to get out of my head with t though. It’s easy to overthink it.
This was my animation practice from February. This week. I’ll begin on the primary practice piece for March. We’ll see how that turns out. 😅
Woot!
Thank you, kindly!
Image of container with a compass and rulers on top of an open sketch book with penciled squares for sketching.
My first post here! 🥳
I’ve decided to do a primary animation project each month alongside shorter doodles. I think that doing a primary project will help me develop my skills even more and give me a time frame to work within. Today I did the storyboard for March’s project. I’m excited.
This is beautiful! 😍
Nothing like that type of adventure lol
