I have a glow-in-the-dark Dr. Phibes pin on my backpack from Jeff. He has a lot of great stuff on his website: mani-yackmonsters.com

I had to stop watching it a long time ago. It's a great show - very well researched, very well written - but all it does is reveal how awful everything is, provides ideas to make things better, but then tells us why those changes won't happen. I never felt better after watching it.
That was pretty much my reaction! ๐
I couldn't believe this happened right as I pulled into a parking spot at work one morning

Have you seen Resolution, the side-quel to Endless?

That's awesome! I never had one of these, but always wanted one.
It's really only recently become available here. The World Cup and the Six Nation's tournament are available on Peacock. Paramount Plus had the Women's World Cup last year. Some national teams have full matches on their YouTube channels. It's out there, but it does take a little digging.
I've been watching too much rugby. I just saw a clip on YouTube of a football player running in for a touchdown and kept waiting for him to place the ball on the ground to score.
Probably between 7 and 10 days...
Now that one I can't recall happening to me. That would be wild.
As for diverging, not really. The scene just sort of ends and my brain skips on to something entirely different. It's literally like watching a clip on YouTube.
It's always a re-enactment of the scene. It's like I'm watching it on TV. Back when I had more time to watch movies - and would watch the same ones over and over again - it happened more often, but it still happens once or twice a year for me. It's clearly the brain processing things it's seen.
I will sometimes dream scenes from movies shot-for-shot, line-for-line. The first time I remember it happening was the foot massage scene from Pulp Fiction. So, yes, this has definitely happened to me.
I feel like House tackled this one at some point. I'm pretty sure the cause was Lupus.
Game Night is an underappreciated gem.
Great...now I can't go make my lunch.
Do you think he's resorting to this because he can't get the rights to a CHIPS photo or something? So weird...
Does that say "America Needed Ponch"? ๐ฌ
Very cool! Congrats!
This should be a national holiday
Kasuga Taisha is a shrine known for its lantern festival. For those who can't attend at the designated time of year, there's a completely dark room full of lanterns. It's literally worth the trip to Nara just to see this. The camera over corrects and makes it much lighter than in real life.
Stunning!
Same here, man. It seemed like such a cool idea, but I don't think they really knew what to do with it. In hindsight, it kind of signalled the end of Google trying to innovate and they just settled for being an ad sales company. Bummer.
