Again… a Labor Dept Secretary that can’t follow labor laws is only possible under Trump.

But even reporters and CNN is missing this most basic point.

The Inside Story of Five Days That Remade the Supreme Court

Unsettling report that shows how partisan the Supreme Court has really become. Much more transparency (by way of reporting) is needed to understand just how partisan the court has become.

Iran will not open the strait until sometime around Nov 2. Write it down. Call me prophetic.

Just as they did with Carter, they are going to make Trump pay and pay BIGLY.

Until you sail with them or fight alongside them. Then, you realize, we are learning a whole hell of a lot from them. We have better tech but they have better tactics and basic skill sets.

Starting an optional war and surrendering in the 2nd month does not count. Neither does opening another front in the same war. We called them World Wars I and II for this exact reason.

And we all get a bit dumber because of him.

Johnson backs Trump, Vance in criticism of pope House Speaker Mike Johnson said he was “taken a little bit aback” by recent comments from the pope.

“I don’t want to engage in a theological debate with the pope...I would just say that these are matters that people of good faith and good sense can debate and think through, and I think that’s what that reflects.”

Johnson's version of Christianity is morally flexible huh?

For over a thousand years, the Catholic Church has taught just war theory... A constant tenet...is a nation can only legitimately take up the sword ‘in self-defense, once all peace efforts have failed’. That is, to be a just war it must be a defense against another who actively wages war

Or what was not in the audit/audit report. Material mis-statements, as alleged were required to be corrected and disclosed.

A law firm, again, contracted by the school district, performed a forensic examination of what went wrong. It looked at the FCPS personnel and procedures but failed to also examine the external auditor's role and responsibilities (conveniently).

Interesting research paper someone wrote on the Arthur Anderson team that performed the Enron (and subsidiaries) audits and the penalties they encountered for their failures.

Deficiency, weakness, misstatement were identified in FCPS audit. What it means. A former KY school financial investigator explains what was in FCPS’ most recent annual audit.

Just an incredibly damning article written about yet another CPA firm doing audit work that "missed" significant misstatements because the client wants a clean opinion. The biggest miss? "Liabilities associated with two out of three bonds issued during the fiscal year weren’t properly recorded"

If only someone had written a book about the importance of sea lanes to controlling the world (Alfred Mahan) huh?

Our approach to foreign policy starts here as every Naval Officer is taught.

This is why we have risked so much to always keep the Hormuz and China Straits open.

How this Administration does not understand the foundation upon which the United States has become a world power truly baffles me.

The more that small things change, the more that big things never really change.

You could hear a pin drop in Kentucky for all the chatter about this. Truly deafening but also speaking volumes.

Trump administration personnel agency is asking for federal workers' medical records The Office of Personnel Management is asking insurers that cover federal employees and retirees to hand over details about their medical visits, their pharmacy claims, and more.

OPM has already been told, by their IG, they compromised every federal employee's employment records last year with an unauthorized server for those 5 points emails.

OPM being allowed to collect health records that could also be hacked proves Scott Kupor is not reliable.

Welp.

If anyone out there is considering when to violate a federal statute (civil or criminal) the next few years is probably a REALLY good time to do it.

DoJ is going to have a hell of a time with any credibility.

Iran War Live Updates: Trump Escalates Threat to Hit Iranian Power Plants After U.S. Rescues Downed Airman

If any other democratic world leader started acting this way, we would be appalled and our leaders would refuse to involve themselves with anything that leader or country was attempting. Kind of like Hungary or Turkey.

Right now, it is our leader and the party in power does nothing.

Opinion | Is Iran Winning?

Insightful. Yes, Iran is beginning to get the upper hand. It is hard to imagine they did not realize this outcome but, perhaps, they are also surprised by the success of their drones and our inability to counter them.

At some point, Ukraine and NATO (with or without us) will lead on this.

The only voter fraud that keeps being found is with registered Republicans.

But, more critically, the fraud that has been found has been incredibly inconsequential to the races that were affected. It was not significant/material.

Justice Dept. says the Presidential Records Act is unconstitutional The DOJ concluded that a law requiring presidential records preservation is unconstitutional, setting the path to potentially upend decades-old legal precedent.

The regime will not keep the records and say "sue us" if you don't like it. They don't care about laws.

For them, laws are meant to be violated until some judge forces compliance and forces more compliance on later non-compliance.

Complex to the point of absurdity and this is what he is about to attempt. Pray for those that will be in country. This will be like Chosin if Chosin had air support. The losses, though, could be catastrophic.

The new rating system is 5, 3, 1 and with required distributions for each. Some good performers will get 3s. Some 3s will end up as 1s. When RIFs happen again, it will not focus on tenure but higher ratings. Those that won't be harmed are ones that go along with Trump's agenda. But thx for the BS.
