Gunna be honest folks, not sure I'm up for stream today. Really not feeling great mentally and emotionally, and while part of me thinks streaming could help with that I just don't know if I have the energy and the drive to follow through with it. Not sure I should risk making these feelings worse.
OFC this is about retro gaming and not modern gaming this ain't a discussion about people pirating shit like the new tomodachi life or indie PC titles - don't get it twisted.
I'm just saying when you flip the narrative from "people who use emulation are so entitled" into talking about the state of the used game market and how little companies actually listen to what people would like, your eyes get opened a little more.
The sadder reality is that older games are starting to experience disc rot if you get unlucky.
But yeah, I also don't wanna pay upwards to $1000 CAD to play a PS2 game. I don't want it for bragging rights. I'd LIKE it to be accessible on a modern console, but it's not.
