By 17:00 the Hungarian parliamentary elections turnout already broke the historic record for the post communist period. Until 19:00 they'll most likely push to over 80% turnout which is really impressive. I wish we could do that in Bulgaria next week... πŸ₯²

Ahahaha, American 3D chess at its finest. πŸ˜ƒ The two blockades will cancel each other the strait will open. I am willing to bet money that by the end of next week, Trump will either remove the blockade or somehow make it ineffective when crude oil goes to $120....He has zero economic pain tolerance.

.. the 2 weeks of negotiations, but that's rather coping and wishful thinking. The Israelis are furious that they weren't consulted and the Gulf states can't quite comprehend what happened yet. However what is certain - Trump will need a miracle to avoid a strategic defeat.

And somehow we just witnessed the Mother of all TACOs (MOAT). πŸ™€ Everyone expected that Trump will chicken out somehow, but what he did amounts to nothing short of an outright surrendering. 😬 I am sure that the Americans believe that they can somehow fix the situation during..

The US reportedly waited to strike the bridge in Iran a second time until rescue workers and others in the area gathered to help the wounded, which then killed at least eight people. Authorities in Iran are describing it as an act of terrorism.

Bloomberg: SpaceX Is Said to Target More Than $2 Trillion Valuation in IPO

Ahahahahahaha πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Elmo is delusional! We have a saying in Bulgaria about setting the price of something: "I don't know if it costs as much, but that's how much I need"

Due to Trump's 4D Chess strategy, Iranian oil is now trading at a premium to both Brent and WTI. 😬 But apparently that's all fine because Bessent said that they'll bomb the banks and the Iranians won't be able to use the money.. And not a single journalist dared to ask: "Dude, are you f-ing stupid"🀣

Iran’s ex-foreign minister Kharazi β€˜gravely wounded’ in attack on his home Apparent assassination attempt comes as Iran's army pledges to fight until the US, Israel face 'permanent surrender'.

It's now blatantly obvious that Israel is actively trying to sabotage even a remote chance of peace talks with Iran. 😬 Netanyahu doesn't want peace, he doesn't want a regime change either... He wants to turn Iran into a failed states similar to Syria.

a reserve currency that can be used to settle trade between India and Russia without intermediary, for example, with the need to tightly control the value of the yuan to support their own goals. All other BRICS currencies are not even close to the level of liquidity needed.

those pesky workers won't suddenly become rich and embark on a spending spree on luxury items from abroad. This is of course happening, the Chinese love imported luxury goods, but if the yuan was properly valued it will be many times more. That's why the Chinese are trying to balance between having

don't want that. The Chinese Yuan is not freely convertible. It's traded under a somewhat complex scheme as 2 'different' currencies - CNY - Chinese Yuan on the Mainland, under strict capital controls and CNH - Chinese Yuan in Hong Kong - a freely convertible currency. Only specially designated..

This is exactly the reason why settling crude oil, and trade in general, in national currencies is a complete bullshit. Sounds good, doesn't work! πŸ˜ƒ The only currency that can realistically substitute the dollar in trade between BRICKS countries is the Chinese Yuan. However, the Chinese themselves..

Also I don't think that it will be a full blown meltdown - they'll just have to scale back, focus on their own problems and humble themselves. They just won't have another choice - a real MAGA of a sort. Sort of what Greece went through.

If nothing changes soon, 1/3 of the US federal revenues will go towards paying the interest on the debt only. And then you have an additional deficit of ~$2 trln that will bring new $88bln of interest every year. This level of spending is unsustainable. The US is one recession away from default.

Btw, many people don't understand what does that mean and how bad it is. The USA has $39trln of debt outstanding. If the whole stock gets rolled at the currently prevailing market level of roughly 4.4% that's $1.71 trln in int payments annually. The annual Federal revenues are just $5.2 trln.

At the moment there's a $14 spread between Brent Crude and WTI.... By far the biggest in history. I don't know who in the US is trying to manipulate the oil market and to what end... but that never works! It will come to bite you on the butt sooner rather than later. πŸ˜‚
