Oh fuck this sounds like me
Genuine question as someone currently transitioning into a more sales-y role: why?
Gutted I couldn’t make this
Good to see Barnsley getting some attention- it has so much potential for the digital sector
It has Articles now, but the algo makes them totally not worth it
Bluesky needs long form support
I worked on a total rewrite before and it was scrapped after 2 months- never again.
Also, the market in 2024 was light years ahead of 2023, so we’re in the middle of a recovery already
It’s anecdotal but recruiters have been telling me that a lot of their clients are planning recruitment drives early this year.
Interest rates are going to come down gradually too, which will mean expansion will be more viable than it has been in recent years.
Of course, I was just curious 😊
That was an interesting read- another thing to add was the usage of dark themes- these severely reduce the impact of dyslexia
What kind of support and tooling? I’ve worked with many dyslexic devs (including my wife) over the years and none of them required anything special
Possibly, but I know a few architects that disable them for new projects
Same here, I’m currently rebuilding my blog with it and I’m so productive
The cost of the rewrite should be the first thing to consider. Rewrites are very rarely commercially viable
Recently got started learning Astro and I’m blown away by how productive I was able to be so quickly
What a brilliant suggestion- I knew you’d have some good ideas. Cheers Beth!
Add me please!
Video is definitely a medium worth investing in. I’d love to see a video demo of the critter stack, I’ve been following it for some time
Most engineers I meet don’t understand business either.
I mainly use technical blog posts so that I do not have to explain the same topics over and over. That being said I don’t have nearly the audience you do
Delivering with consistency and enacting change effectively
Software exchanges like Kraken, but I was speaking more as a developer than as an investor
