Martinelli coming on

Had to read this twice before I understood it, but I like it. Ødegaard back is important given our build-up issues at Wembley, trying Eze on the left was needed, and glad Havertz starts this one.
Mosquera and Hincapié definitely the right choices in Timber/Calafiori’s absences.
Xavi Simons booked for taking his shirt off and jumping into the crowd in a game Spurs go on to bottle at the end? He stole Richarlison’s whole flow.
Of our 5 midweeks between now and the end of the Premier League season, only 2 will have a game (the Atletico matches).
It's been a rough schedule so far, but it should be slightly more forgiving from here. Especially if our missing starters can get fit.
I probably had the best angle in the ground to see it wasn’t going in, so I was fine then. A moment earlier as he was shaping to shoot I was definitely like “here we go again”.
I’ve never had so many people run past me on Holloway Road after a game. Calm down, guys, the queue into Highbury & Islington will still be there when you arrive.
Semi-finals again! Don’t want to take that for granted, even if the game was underwhelming. Atletico are a team we’ve already beaten comfortably, can only hope we have our best players available for this one.
Sporting fans let off a flare, presumably thinking that last chance had gone in.
Aside from that one pass (not) to Martinelli, thought Hincapié was very good. Eze also having one of his best games excluding the ones against the relegation-standard team.
Any rival fans watching our game over Bayern-Real Madrid have lost their minds.
Mostly fine. Some good moments with no clinical edge, then some worrying moments at the back. But we’re still ahead, so fine.
Yeah, eventually White was going to have to rest, I’m mostly just glad he’s still in the squad.
Good that Eze is fit to start, and Rice isn’t absent.
I know it’s probably mostly just banter, but surely there aren’t any actual Chelsea fans who think they can afford to throw today’s game? Their league position and remaining fixtures doesn’t look good at all.
If you can’t turn up in the sun at home to Bournemouth, when exactly are you going to turn up? How much more ideal do you need the conditions to be to put in a performance?
People always say this but I vividly remember it working with Havertz in the team as well vs Kairat. So do you mean it’s never worked vs a top team?
Still without loads of starters, four on this occasion. Great to have Eze back on the bench though, hopefully we won’t need him.
Damn, what a free-kick.
Raya is absolutely world class. Difference maker, we saw tonight what we missed without him.
Great result. A 0-0 first-leg away draw would’ve been a good result under most circumstances, but after the last two results this win is so much better.
Top, top stuff from Martinelli leading to the goal.
HAVERTZZZZZ
Great save, Raya wouldn’t have seen that until late.
Great goal, miles offside in the build-up. Unfortunately not a tough decision.
That foul on Madueke was way too obvious for the commentary to be clearly dubious about it being given.
Only a few minutes in and already Raya has made a save that no one would criticise a different goalkeeper for conceding.
Can’t even complain about the defending, that’s just a crazy good through ball. Thankfully it didn’t lead to a goal.
I can talk about whatever I want in whatever order I want, and Kepa was the player pissing me off by being bad at literally everything (passing, clearances, presence, catches, saves).
So go fuck yourself, you weirdo.
So you just didn’t read the first sentence or you’re illiterate and incapable of reading it?
Red cards exist, injuries exist, you don’t know Raya will play every game. I can’t focus on all players at once, I started with one of the worst ones.
You watched that game and didn’t think Kepa was a huge problem? Mad, I don’t rate your analysis much then.
