I think there are plenty of theological-oriented reasons to find the Trump as Christ images offensive. But, I think there’s also a real secular concern about the judgment and stability of a man who earnestly compares himself to God.

Donald Trump bombed Iran tonight, not because they are about to have nuclear weapons (they are not), but because he needed a distraction from his tanking poll numbers and his deeply unpopular "Big Beautiful Bill."

The “news” is so weird. I have seen “Men lose more weight with exercise than women.” And “School should start later”. Why are things we have known for decades news?

My son and I were *just* talking about this idea. We posited that if they were able to pass knowledge from generation to generation, it would have already happened.
I think he gets lumped in because outsiders don’t have the bandwidth or the expertise to separate out pop evolutionary bio from anth and I admit to using an article or two about balanced polymorphisms or bottlenecks
I’m very sad to hear that Colin Renfrew, a giant in the field of Prehistoric Archaeology, has joined the realm of the ancients. An academic archaeologist with one foot firmly in the trench, he combined theory & fieldwork with flair - and had a knack for asking the right questions. His work lives on

I am sure my colleagues here are familiar with the arguments about ethical use of human remains in the classroom but where do you stand on casts? Are they like a photograph? I am excluding NAGPRA issues from this question, as that is settled, but I genuinely want your input.
