It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since Prince died of an overdose. I remember it like it was yesterday, and it was so surreal. My husband and I went for a long motorcycle ride, since the weather was beautiful, and we turned on the SiriusXM station that was playing nothing but Prince.

Anyway, the last time I smoked was New Year's Eve of 2023. I quit smoking because I needed to pass a drug test for work.

Yeah, today's 4/20. Smoke 'em if you got 'em, and if you're able to. When my husband was alive, and we had our cozy "home by the sea," we enjoyed a puff or two, now and again. It was never a daily thing, just once in a while. We had acquaintances who'd invite us over for a smoke.
