A great thread. I'm going to be annoying and state for the billionth time that this is why the Wildstorm characters do not belong in the DCU. Because the DC heroes are in charge of maintaining a world that is essentially good.

A half-formed thought I've been chewing on this morning about the DC Absolute line: the foundational approach is to position superheroes as underdogs, disruptors of the unjust status quo. (Which I theoretically like.) The problem is, doing so asks a dangerous question: can they change anything?

I love how the Duke mini flows right into the main G.I. Joe book and I'm super into this whole shared universe thing with Cobra creating weapons using the Cybertronian Energon.
