Within the space of a week I did two things I promised myself I would do this year - competed in a powerlifting meet and running the entire five miles of an annual Thanksgiving Day race. If I can motivate myself to finish chapter one of my dissertation then I’ll be good for 2024.
I know which one I choose.

At my library we are happy for you to borrow what you want whenever you want.
This is my powerlifting coach. She’s a BADASS! Today she competed with a boot on her broken foot. At another meet she medaled while 7 months pregnant.
PS - out of 60 competitors in this meet, 42 are women.
Squats complete, all 3 attempts successful! Bench press coming up.
First lift of the day at my first powerlifting meet - white light! Only 8 more to go.
