stirred, poured the milk in. closed the milk carton, opened the fridge and stared at the kettle thinking 'wasn't the carton here? where should i put the milk?' then i realized the kettle is not supposed to be there. thank you very much.
just so you understand my cognitive settings today. i put two coffee scoops into my mug, three sugar scoops. opened the fridge and took out the milk. poured water into the mug, put the kettle with the leftover water into the fridge and closed it.
migraine: 1. me: 0. still dragged myself to the keyboard to get a few words down today between errands because these characters won't leave my head. we take the small wins.

i liked drafting by hand cuz i thought it helped me get into the flow. turns out the problem was just a cheap keyboard and no web blockers on my pc.
the one big reason the Red/Dave sequel moves so slow is cuz i wrote it in my old way of drafting. pen on paper. now i have to rewrite it to pc, decode my handwriting, and then edit. yea, my bad.

at the start of every session i take this vintage clock i inherited from my grandpa (it doesn’t show the actual time) and wind it up. the ticking is somehow soothing, yet it’s also a pressure, marching of time.
then i chug an energy drink, put on some deathcore or Ado, and write.
