Same. Bit of a panic on though as there weren’t many left, were there? Me and the lad ended up on the back row of Club View, but at least I can stretch my legs during the game without blocking anyone’s view. Also, we won’t need a leg day at the gym with the climb to our seats 😂

It’s going to be sad to leave Goodison after the last game, but I can’t wait for next season to start now.

It feels so much sweeter now that Moyes has steadied the ship.

Dyche never seemed to grasp this.

I don’t know if it will be right for the club, but if Moyes is coming I can see him passing the reins onto Seamus at some point

Based on last manager quotes he would definitely get the team’s respect

Whether or not he has the technical skills could be worked out with a coach role with Moyes

You’re right. My point was based on the pressure a new manager would be under to get results straight away meaning it will be harder (but not impossible) to plan the rest.

At the start of the season most expected Dyche to see us safely through to the summer - not least the new owners.

I fear you’re right, and the longer it takes to replace him the worse it will be.

I think they had banked on us being 6-9 points better off by this point and didn’t think they would need to consider his position until the summer in getting a long term replacement, instead of another rescue job.

Agreed. If we stay up with Dyche then that’s ideal. So a new manager then gets, what should be, an easier time of it over the summer to rebuild.

If only we knew🔮 I can’t see paying the few months of his contract is going to concern the new owners financially IF they’ve already got someone lined up.

If TFG really wanted to win over the fans they’d schedule an additional test event tonight at Bramley Moore for 5,000 supporters and sack Dyche in front of them.

The plan looks like a sound one.

I am even more optimistic about the future now but we would be fools to think that this will be a quick fix

For me the first big sign that things are improving is that we stop selling our best players, and we keep Branthwaite in the summer
