There's a part where @redstringtl.bsky.social made an interesting point at the space about the quality of manga printing in Japan and the heavy export costs that come with it. The ways different publishers navigate printing for such a limited resource (paper!) is often overlooked by consumers.

It isn't. Please. If this scholar is anal abt MTL for JP student presentations, then dammit, understand that this acquisition is no good.

AI isn't the solution to manga's global distribution problem.
