Productive weekend

Played disc golf and a TTRPG with friends. Stayed up late and played video games two nights in a row. Cut the grass, gave my partner a long bday massage, caught up on dishes and laundry, swept downstairs, got a mild workout in.

I totally agree. It wasn't making money so they had to figure a clever way to make it work and now that's what it's all about. Just like most things in this country, so many things that were meant to be community or utility are just For Profit and there's no regard for human decency

Completed my first day of my new job. Hard to give any impressions when I'm just going to be watching training videos and quizzes for a couple weeks but I do think I'm going to like it.

I got out for some light throwing. Nothing like a full course but just a little field work and some multiple shots at a short loop. Worth it.

I did something similar.
Just a little field work, and did multiple shots at the shortest of the loops at a Roy G, holes 16 through 18. Just enough to move my body but not a full blown round at a big course.

I have 4 days left of my vacay. I want to play disc golf.

But my right knee and my calves are sore. I should probably rest today.

BUT it's looking wet the next couple days.

Do I take some ibuprofen and power through today or power through possible rains the next couple days?

Like the whole point of a single mother surviving in order to care for her child or multiple children is not having to lose precious time with her family either. Working overtime cuts into that.

I am so ready to get out of this job. The next one will be hard. But I think it will be supported more, more developed, AND I'll get paid more. The first new job I've ever had that I didn't have to take a pay cut just to get out of a shitty situation.
