Ale and Cake Day - an old Maundy Thursday tradition that we would LOVE to see return! 🍻🍰

We've done a bit of research into this intriguing tradition which appears to date back to the 18th century where the cake and ale was supplied from the Rose and Crown Hotel in Penistone
