It’s not really the people you think of as trans women that are the threat. It’s the opportunistic evil bastards, and they are a threat to both cis and trans women. However, you can’t keep those threats out without making it cis-only in the restrooms. Her message is getting lost amongst hate.

Do you mean this tweet? I think she’s saying that if trans women are using the women’s facility unlawfully, they can be deterred without confronting physically, by photographing them. Naming & shaming, sort of thing.

She didn’t say protect women specifically, and I imagine that was purposeful.

Saying that those with the natural strength in society should use it to protect (as opposed to overpower) is not a bad thing.
