Can anyone recommend good gutter cleaning tools for us to add to our inventory? We already have presser washers & a gutter leaf blower, as well as extendable ladders aucklandlibraryoftools.myturn.com/library/inve...
Yes of course! The whole of the North Island should be preparing, but our audience are mostly Aucklanders.
Stay safe this weekend
Aucklanders make sure you are preparing for Cyclone Vaianu. Clear your gutters and drains, tie down your trampolines, check your emergency kits and check on your neighbours.
A note on parking: on Fridays you'll need to park in front of ALoT or down our driveway, or the side streets. Our agreement with our lovely neighbours is that we can park in their carpark when they are closed (after 5.30pm and on weekends).
Exciting news 🎉 we are now open Fridays!
From this week (the start of Spring) ALoT will be open Fridays during daytime hours: 1.30-5.30pm
Hopefully these hours are more accessible and will help you get into your DIY projects earlier!

🧵Pattern /quilters rulers
🧵Bias tape maker
🧵Seam rippers
Do you have any of these items needing a new home? 💚
Photo of the inside of Auckland Library of Tools. A large sandwich board sign which says "Auckland Library of Tools, Open" is visible, as well as a wall lined with gardening tools, saws and clamps.
We'll be open an hour earlier tonight so you can drop in to borrow or return items from 4.30-7.30pm today (Tuesday).
If you're arriving before 5 pm, you'll need to park in our parks out front or down the driveway. Parking next door is OK from after 5pm.
We've got a couple of events coming up, mark your calendars!
Mending Circle - Thursday 24th July 6pm - 8pm
Repair & Share (Repair Cafe) - Saturday August 2nd 11am - 2pm.

We liked to argue with people who love landlords and ACT 🤷
We think so too!

🚨ALoT will be CLOSED tonight (Thursday)🚨
Unfortunately due to volunteer shortage we are unable to open tonight, we apologise for the inconvience. We'll be open on Saturday as usual, so please pop by to return any items due (no fees will be charged for items due today), and pick up any reservations.
Reminder that we are closed this Saturday for Auckland Anniversary weekend so our volunteers can have a break. You can come and borrow tools (and camping gear, kitchen gadgets, gardening equipment and more!) during our open hours on Thursday (5.30 - 7.30pm)
If you've been into ALoT lately, you'll notice we have reorganized. Huge thanks to Alex for doing the mahi over the holidays. We now have space for more tools! Have a look & see if you have any items we need at your home wasting space www.aucklandlibraryoftools.com/tools-wanted
