More like post pandemic lockdown living large in social division.

I just spent 10 minutes restarting my phone and thinking I'd been blocked by a chum!
I think it's down
It’s shocking watching what’s happening in America and it makes you think we’ve been asking for decades, how does a state slide into fascism (because it seemed unthinkable), when we should have been asking the more pressing question, how do you stop it?
Just realised that if they abolish the post-grad level Apprenticeships, it's another nail in the coffin of HE in the UK :-(
And another good reason to sign up NOW for the possibly final cohort of
Yes absolutely.
Mostly "Spring's next". Bulb tips, buds, slightly longer days.
I love a sunny winter walk, had a glorious one yesterday. Love a cosy candle/log fire type of evening. Gloomy grey days seem to suck out my energy.
I'll just ask the butler, but as it's sunny, that's a nice idea. I'll send the Rolls over if you'd like to join?
People could keep £500m and be so comfortable a. their whole life must just be about spending money. How pointless.
I must have another cup of tea.
As I have grown older, I have come to realize that the only way to defeat bad #ideas is not by throwing data at someone or screaming at them but instead by exposure & gentle persuasion while being cognizant of the other's emotions!
I have found that it's a timewaster. Bluesky is a bit boring.
I was wondering this (final days)...
Threads awful. I once answered a question about toast preferences, and now my feed is full of people asking about what they should have for breakfast. WTAF
Ha ha, I was JUST saying that things are not made for longevity any more. Had an oven for 28 years that worked at 100%; now 7 years on with the newbies both faulty.
Meatware - anyone?
I don't think we can be friends... dunking makes me shudder!!
Just ate a gingernut so quickly that all I experienced was a lingering crunch.
A chart in three parts showing data on child mortality to make the points that "The world is awful. The world is much better. The world can be much better. All three statements are true at the same time."
The world is awful. The world is much better. The world can be much better.
All three statements are true at the same time. Understanding this is key to solving big global problems.
We believe data & research can help us understand both the problems we face & the progress that’s possible. 🧵
I would have to give everyone a secred code heh heh
I think we should do it; I did think you might like it.
I stopped doing them for a couple of years; I don't know why it feels so energy sapping. I make them for family and close friends but the bigger list is low priority. However I do have time this year, and I love that prompt. TY.
I want to keep it secret. Actually can't remember the name; a rather anonymous looking place in Marylebone that I've walked past hundreds of times.
Delicious small dishes; tempura prawns, steamed dumplings, sublime gyoza, beancurd managed to be quite nice, miso aubergine. Green tea - delicious!
Hear??? So sorry, that hurts my eyes!
Quite magical. Well, I'm on tea two, and thinking about my list of things to do. Work gets slower at this time of year, so it's mostly about scheduling and tying up loose ends. A delicious celebratory lunch yesterday; I so love Japanese food.
Yikes! Hope it gets better from hear. Mine has started looking at the Christmas card address list and feeling daunted.
Tuesday is here again, which gives an opportunity to highlight the amazing work that so many organisations and individuals do in the #Charity sector

I think our work is hard to celebrate.
I appreciate you owning your part in it. They learn you and how you are shows them how they can be.
