Quite a speedy experience through DXB Terminal 1 today - the #smartgates are really something, even when facial recognition doesn’t nail it 100% of the time.

Now it appears that passengers don’t have enough space in the overhead bins for their bags - no surprise, since so many disregard the baggage size limits. At least they’ve let me keep my @peakdesignltd backpack under the seat 🙂

I’m almost certain #flynas doesn’t check carry-on baggage dimensions or a lot of people would be forced to check in. Many consultants with two bags (backpack AND roller), and some of their cabin bags are obviously WAY past 7kg

Consultants galore on this flight. Doing the red eye isn’t fun so anyone. Wake up at 3, get to airport by 4, grab a quick bite at the lounge, and awayyyy we go. Expecting to be quite tired by 3 pm today

Back on the red eye to the Kingdom (no, not the one with Mickey and friends) via #flynas. Seats don’t have USB power, their boarding system doesn’t read the QR code in the Apple Wallet boarding pass. Will try the emailed boarding pass next time
