Just got the call. Fired. I was the DEI coordinator for church liturgy.
It was my job to rewrite the prayers so they didn’t sound like they were written by 13th-century monks. Turns out, “Mother God” was too controversial.

This is v v v relatable. I just told my therapist the hardest part is how unsafe I feel, like no one is protecting us, no one has our best interest at heart. And that runs deep because I don’t know that anyone ever did. 😢
