And we've probably invested 100+ man hours over the last few weeks improving our directory. We can now say confidently we have by far the most comprehensive directory of online poker: networks, sites, bodies, companies, markets, player pools, its there and connected.

This article (no paywall obv) goes over the launch in more detail. It's not just the data, we have completely overhauled the entire platform, basically from the ground up. Every part of the site has been improved.

We also count a lot of the larger media groups/affiliates, platform provider etc in our customers.
And if you're sure you're *not* yet a customer, well then now is obviously the time. We have a spangly new landing page just for you.

If you don't have access to PRO and you're in the industry, then please reach out - around 80% of poker operators/providers have access to PRO through their organization. It might just be you need setting up with an account!
If you're a customer, you have access from today, all as part of your existing subscription.
Very excited today to finally launch the biggest overhaul to @pokerindpro in the 12 years since we first launched.
Introducing PRO DB: An all new data platform powered by Sharkscope data covering MTT and cash games over 35 networks.
Lots more to come from us. Stay tuned. Things still to cover:
- The new software! we have lots to say on that, but i'll have to wait.
- The rewards program. Does look solid but we got nothing concrete pre launch, so analysis on that to come.
Also, plan for first big tournament series running soon after (like SCOOP, but not SCOOP, we've heard).
On top of that:
- Big new welcome bonus for everyone (inc existing FD accounts, so lots of money pulled into poker)
- Big $150k freeroll series running all next week
- Sunday Million (well, 2x$500k guaranteed tournaments) running Sunday week
For players - here's what you get immediately:
- A way bigger player pool - it will be double- to triple-sized compared to before, just thanks to PA+MI+NJ
- And the push to the FD player base should make games super frothy for a while!
They're keeping the PokerStars brand, but it'll be accessible on FD wallets, _and_ on FanDuel licensing, which makes expanding poker a lot easier.
You'll read a lot of corporatese about synergies and cross promotional opporunities and all that jazz, but the reality is: This is bringing 2 of the biggest US gaming brands together in one place.
And launching this to all of FanDuel's sports bettors in PA-NJ-MU should be Big Deal. That's a lot of accounts. They now are a few clicks from trying out poker. There's some great opportunities between this two brands.
It puts them in a much stronger spot if and when we have new states. Maine is one. West Virginia likely another, that could come this year. But it means if we _do_ get an IL or a NY, then PokerStars, now operating under FanDuel's licenses, will be ready to pull the trigger.
This is the reason why - this has genuinely taken them well over a year to do this integration. They hadn't forgotten or given up on poker; they were just trying to think long-term and complete this major migration first before moving fwd with shared liquidity.
Ok, now on to why this is still good news for US poker: PokerStars has been on the sidelines for over a year now. No SCOOP. No new product dev. No new markets. No shared liquidity. Their sites have dwindled and ceded a lot of the competition.
3) Ontario is now part of the network!?
Unfortunately not. We expect the same treatment (PS x FanDuel) to happen in Ontario later this month or next month. But it will be separate from the US market.
2) Is PokerStars going live in more poker states tho? WV, Nevada, CT?
No new states yet. No comment from PS on a plan here. We'll cover this in more detail in future content, but my *opinion* is we'll see WV soon, CT maaaaybe, NV not on horizon. Positioned for Maine '27.
1) Is FanDuel Poker available in every state FanDuel sportsbook is in?
No: It's still only poker in PokerStars' old poker states - PA, NJ, MI. You have to be in those states to play.
Ok to dispel some misunderstandings, here is what is _not_ happening today. Then we'll get into why this is *still* a big deal and what to look forward to in coming days/weeks/months.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE FD ACCOUNT then you just download the software and log in. Your existing FD wallet will be available to play on poker.
⚠️ YOU STILL GET TO DO THE POKER WELCOME BONUS ⚠️
If that's you, all details on welcome bonus, software etc will be on our dedicated page - if you sign up through us, it costs you nothing, and helps to support our work and journalism. 🙏

IF YOU ARE AN OLD POKERSTARS PLAYER and don't have a FanDuel account
- You sign up again
- You get a 100% $1000 welcome bonus again + $30 free tix
- You download new software and deposit again
IF YOU NEVER HAD A PS OR FD ACCOUNT - same as above
It is a major step for the company - and puts them back on the map in the US after a year+ of being basically AWOL as other sites did PA shared liquidity.
This has been in the works for at least 18 months at PokerStars/FanDuel, bringing together these 2 brands. It opens up poker to all FanDuel account holders in these states - they're an app download away from trying poker.
Anyway, on with the details - here's what just happened:
- Last night, PS MI/PA/NJ shut down
- Today, 8am ET, they came back online - but under the FanDuel domain
- New software
- New welcome bonus *for everyone*
- New rewards
- New three-state network
You reading & sharing our content is critical to us. If you follow us, you'll know that we have been reporting on this merger now for over a year. It takes a lot of work, digging and relationship building to bring this stuff to you. So support is v appreciated
And this is a guide to FanDuel Poker specifically - this two pieces contain pretty much everything we know, and will be updating throughout today and into the week as we learn more.

First - if you'd rather get this in full-length form rather than a bunch of tweets, I'm mostly cribbing off the excellent reporting of @anuj2212 and the team at @pokerfuse. Here's our launch article :- pokerfuse.com/latest-news...
PokerStars is dead. Long live PokerStars (Exclusively on FanDuel).
🧵 ITS THE POKERSTARS X FANDUEL LAUNCH THREAD 🧵
In this thread i'm going to detail everything that's JUST happened - and, perhaps more critically, what has _not_ - to PokerStars US online poker today.
