"Can the UK rejoin the EU?" asks the Times.

The answer: YES.

And there is a very useful resource here about exactly how:

Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.

They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.

That energy is all around us.

And it does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Starmer calls for ‘ambitious’ new UK-EU ties as Trump threatens to quit Nato PM to focus on European defence and economic partnership for ‘dangerous world’ in pivot away from US

We need to be more than "ambitious".

We've heard "ambitious" before, we've had summits before – this time it must be so much more.

The economy is about to turn dire. The US is no longer a reliable ally.

We need to begin the process of rejoining the EU asap.

Brexiters are moaning that a deal with the EU means some marmalade might have to be labelled "citrus marmalade" and we can only say:

WHO ON EARTH CARES?

The era of this kind of petty anti-EU crap is over. We have much bigger problems now than single extra words on food labels.

Like all of the far right nationalist parties supported by the Kremlin and their obvious proxies, Farage is a fraud.

Not a public servant.
Not a patriot.
Not a champion for the downtrodden.
Not a representative of the common man.

A blatant profiteering fraud.
A corrupt puppet.

I hate to bang on about this and I'll stop after this but if you ever want to know if something is a class issue, just ask how it impacts the rich and the poor.

After this, can rich people access assisted dying? Yes. They can still afford to go abroad to somewhere like Switzerland.

Strong campaign by religious groups against this bill. It smacks of religion being allowed to control the masses. Why are they still allowed to get involved?

No. It’s right that residents here have a vote in their future.

Instead of fields of cows contributing to climate change there could be more fields of solar panels and wind turbines. Even fields where renewable energy facilities are interspersed with crops. It's a no brainer.

He doesn’t care about Clacton. The people there know it. Reform can’t ’be given a go’ because of the Tories calamity and Labour’s lethargy

I really think business and ordinary people have a huge role to play. Every day wasted will cost more to future and current younger generations.

Reform are exceptional muck spreaders . But sadly popular with the public, what does that say about us and our media? They have to be apposed with a strong uniting centre left vision. Don’t they?

Reform UK plays down Goldsmith role on green policy - Farmers Weekly Reform UK has sought to distance itself from suggestions that Conservative environmentalist Ben Goldsmith is shaping its agricultural and nature policy,

Reform UK have rejected ‘policies involving the rewilding of productive farmland or the destocking of upland farms’, stating they “are not aligned with its principles or objectives”.’

Lest we be in any doubt about how disastrous Farage would be for nature…

We need to speak out, even if it’s just to let the silent majority know that a REFUK government is not a done deal at the next GE. We need to be doing it now.
