Either way, choice or no choice, when you start over, you are brave. You are strong. It isn't different in your creative life. Finally got around to finishing up the sketch I started a few weeks ago, and ended up making it into a ref sheet for my sona.
He is Jack, he is a pallid bat.

Tried to make him true to my own body type, but did take a few liberties, haha.

Despite their paradoxical existence, we still ❤ spectral bats.

Bats in the UK eat only insects (some eat spiders too), but bats elsewhere also dine on frogs, fruit, other bats, nectar from flowers, blood, pollen and fish. Some bats use echolocation to navigate and hunt, while others rely on smell and vision to find food.

Bats have incredible healing powers. Cassidy the Mexican free-tailed bat came in with a huge tear in her wing. It took months, but the tear healed on its own & she was released. The only care we gave for it was flax oil to help keep the membranes pliable. 🦇

Vrodon was the leader of the necromancers, a guild that worshipped the evil god Chaos, and with his power he fought the war, using the corpses of his enemies as a weapon.
He then rejected Chaos, as he couldn't give him what he wanted, rejected his power.

The rare bg, I haven't done a full illustration in years. I can't remember the last time I did a value layer either either. This was supposed to be apractice but I am legit happy with it. I made a timelapse, I'll post it when I can figure out where they save to.
