generating pokemon is easier too I guess, but there's an app that just make moving around pkmn between generations easy so you don't have to touch gen 4/5 pal park
I'm gonna drop this here instead of twt, but if you have a 3DS and you are playing this game then you're at such an insane time/money(!!!) advantage over a good chunk of players as 60% of the pokedex is stuck on that system (incineroar, garchomp, tyranitar, pelipper, & torkoal are significant cores)
Hit Master Ball rank on this game at ~1600 ELO (I guess?). Gonna take a break, but learning doubles when I've been playing singles every time I touch a pokemon game has been really fun. BO1 ladder sucks imo, but adapting FG skillsets into pokemon has been really sick

learning vgc/doubles format via Champions has been fun as hell though. been slowly grinding out to Ultra 2 rank and testing teambuilds (i finally have enough pokemon to actually copy teams over just making my own lol)
