#LearnedLeague #LL108 has concluded. The season started off a little rocky, but then got a little better. I ended up 7th place in my rundle. Placed in 6th the season before. 🦙

I'm a couple days late, but I can't believe I got another (actual!) beer on MD21 of #LearnedLeague. 🍻 I know I haven't been posting much about #LL108. Just so much stress going on, I'm feeling overwhelmed and social media is no place I want to be when I feel this way.

Showing my age a little here, but I had this on 45 vinyl (with the Mannequin movie poster cover) when I was a kid.

I mean, I was very happy with myself to get my first beer in a couple seasons of #LearnedLeague for MD14. I had a tiring day yesterday. But my opponent forfeited the match anyway.

That show was part of my childhood. Have it on DVD now, of course. 🖤

I was a faithful viewer of 120 Minutes. I have a pile of VHS tapes of recorded music videos from the show, including The Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man", which was the last video the show played.

Well, this first week of #LearnedLeague didn't seem to go so well. 😢

If you've never seen Julie Taymor's adaptation of Titus (Andronicus) I'd recommend it. He's delightful (😈) as Saturninus.🥧

Oh the memories! When this (the animation) was popular the only internet I had was a WebTV, which didn't handle flash very well and it would always crash. But when I was able I watched it like a million times over and thought it was the coolest/funniest thing in the world. ⚡

Watched it in 9th grade. No fast forwarding. We just sat there like good boys and girls and giggled shyly to ourselves.

With all honesty, I have to thank 9th grade English for starting my lifelong love of Shakespeare. I actually bought that film through Blockbuster right after seeing it in school.
