There is a wooden Ouija board on a table. A little in the back, behind the Ouija board, is the lower portion of a dog visible. In front of the Ouija board is another dog reaching into the screen with its arm and having its paw on the moving piece of the Ouija board. It looks like the dogs are actively playing with the Ouija board, making this image both hilarious and odd.

Feel free to take a look at the implementation of mine, maybe you can find something to improve it. A lot of Godot colleagues took a look already and we have improved it, but it still underperforms sadly. And it's not the rendering itself, but the algorithm and it's loop.

And need to clarify that the performance issue was not with Godot itself, but due to GDScript. C# was at around 2-3ms.

Super cool someone else ported this to Godot too!

I tried porting it CPU only as the original algorithm ran on the Commodore CPU as well, but it didn't perform well in Godot sadly. It took 10-34ms to render a frame. github.com/greenpixels/...

When I remade it in Rust, rendering a frame took 500us

got bored, made a voxel space renderer in #godot using a canvasitem shader and a basic player controller in gdscript

ported from the code examples given in github.com/s-macke/Voxe...

mostly as a "tech demo" but it could be interesting to make a game with

Hey hey! I recently did a whole bunch of portraits for #dwarffortress, but a lot of people deemed them a bit too silly, or questioned why the unicorn looked the way it did.

I've spent the last weeks updating them all to be more realistic and 'neutral' in tone, check out some of my neat animals.

Something very weird is happening in the Pixel Dailies server. I think one of the mods got hacked

Seems that the Discord of @pixeldailies.bsky.social got hacked or at least someone with malicious intend has mod. They deleted all channels and a link that looks super sus. I'd advise leaving, or at least staying super careful. Unsure whether their other socials are affected as well.

I've started working on a little pokemon side project. One of the things I've done for it is remake Hexmaniac's sprite with the gen 6 design.
I really like Hexmaniac, she's cute, and I'm really happy with how this turned out!
