Natural clay lined pond thawing, 2nd spring. Probably has a leak so we pull back the rocks above the water line and try to patch with bentonite. Barley straw bale kept water clear and (hopefully) allowed for breathing for anything wintering. Wildlife already frequenting it, hoping the frogs return.
