He was a kid full of love & sweetness in addition to that boundless energy, & most of his sped teachers saw that, thank god.

Some of the non-sped teachers he had over the years made their dislike of him very clear to me, which pissed me the fuck off. He could not help his behavior. He has a fucking brain injury. Somebody did this to him & he's been paying the price for 25 years.

My son's ADHD is insanely severe & as a kid he would literally crawl around the classroom, picking at other kids, even when medicated. At times he was so disruptive aides just took him out of class & walked the halls with him. Hard to get an education when you're roaming the halls every day.
