I don't think that's being a purist or unreasonable. The moment I have an inkling that something I'm watching is mostly made with gen AI (the big one is AI voices, for example) I check to make sure and if it turns out it is I turn it off. The sponsor stuff I can usually ignore cuz of SponsorBlock.
