It’s just gone noon, half past monsoon, on the banks of the river Nile.
Good work - I’ll check it out
Prices for Inter Alia in London ranging from £146 to £333
We just looked to book tickets for Inter Alia - a play in London, and was horrified at the prices. This photo is from the booking site.
@nationaltheatre.org.uk these prices are obscene. How is theatre for the masses when shows are priced like this? Elitist, exclusivist, and appalling.
*in Yorkshire not on it.
Bloody typos.
Up on Yorkshire and it’s as beautiful as ever.
Very odd!
Ooh, I like that. I’m going to use it!

In the gaslit shadows of 1865 London, an aspiring novelist seeks inspiration from the notorious London Ghost Club.
What he discovers is a haunting like no other…

Still in shock
Curious as to why the orange manbaby hasn’t been boasting about Artemis. I’ve not been aware of him mentioning or bragging about this historic event at all.
London, 1865.
Henry Webster joins the notorious London Ghost Club, hoping to find inspiration… and perhaps meet Charles Dickens. Instead, he finds something deeply unsettling…
GHOST LIGHT is at The Lantern Theatre for Brighton Fringe May 4th & 10th only.

That’s really sad. But sadly a story that plays out too often.
Baker St is one helluva tune. #totp
Thank you!!
It’s world theatre day!
Pleased to announce that my Victorian ghost story, Ghost Light, is heading to my home city of Leeds this October.
Spooky nights in the theatre are great!
I’m looking forward to returning to Brighton Fringe in a couple of months with @orangeworks.bsky.social to perform my Victorian ghost story: Ghost Light.
Ghost Light is at The Lantern Theatre on May 4th and May 10th only. Tickets can be found via BrightonFringe.org
This is absolutely sickening.

“All the world’s a stage,” wrote Shakespeare.
I’ve been reflecting on that passage, and the questions it poses:
What stage are you standing on right now — and what part do you want to play?
A short reflection here:

Reform fury as someone else wins by Our By-election Editor Tim Shipsink The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost comprehensively to someone else. "It's totally unfair and rigged," said Goodwhinge. "I shouldn't be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost." Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me. Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X. "We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families." Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice. They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green." Reform leader Mr Farage, speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said, "It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either." PLUMBER DEFEATS MATT GOODWIN Photo of Hannah Spencer with speech bubble saying… I've stopped the cock
Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.
Brilliant thread, David - amazing job. Thank you.
Wow!!! 🥳
