I think synthetic agents can be used to model and refine direct data collection because it is cheaper ... most survey and qual data collection exercises are risky because they are one shot or if tested undersampled. Obviously you must present all data collection methods honestly!
I use models to refine my experiments. Does not mean I do not like real-world testing. Why would one not wish to save money and time (and ethical risk) so one can be more precise and analytic?
What are your thoughts about synthetic polling and potentially pseudo-qualitative methods by creating AI agents and exposing them to statistically curated data sets?
A very helpful comment ... I think that attitude is complemented by a system ready to accommodate greater heterogeneity in mission.

I do understand this and sympathise, but management accounting has to draw some boxes. The issue is control over spending has to be re-established in the context of a system that has not provided it. Particularly, unanticipated calls on other RCs. The PPAN community has been part of STFC governance

Another Modest Proposal: 'being a suggestion for shortening the Bachelor’s degree, improving its efficiency, and rendering it somewhat more useful to students, universities and the publick'

Acting co-Directors of the Wiener Holocaust Library, Dr Christine Schmidt and Dr Barbara Warnock speak on stage at the LJS.
A very special evening at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue with Sir Andras Schiff.
With enormous thanks to the LJS team, CST, Dr Agnes Kaposi, and everyone who purchased tickets. Every penny raised from ticket sales will now support our vital work.
Very pleased to contribute to this!

Whilst incarcerated in Westerbork and then in Bergen-Belsen with her mother and two sisters, Ruth Wiener recorded her experiences in this diary.
Here a page shows her address in Bergen-Belsen, written in January 1943.

Yes ... I do look at the China quite extensively in previous blogs ... and I have analysed the new US National Security Strategy. I think that the changing posture of the US makes discussion of sovereign capabilities more important.
