There's a thread on Twitter that purports to show that AI can save money by producing visual effects better than Hollywood. And it's just identical shots that wouldn't exist without straight plagiarism of the source material.
It might be the dumbest thread I've ever seen.
People who use AI to make "art" and claim they truly are artists are the kids who would trace a picture of a giant squid from a book in year three and when they got caught out exclaim that everyone else is just jealous of their brilliant giant squid drawing.
