I like how I got this app to post my art to make me draw more and I just haven’t posted much… to be fair I don’t like most of my stuff enough to post it minus a few doodles here and there. That said I will be forcing myself to post more this year so that it’ll hopefully get me working more on art.

I like how this doodle turned out minus the clothes I put zero effort in, but pretty ok for absolutely no effort I guess.

I have once again remembered about this app… I feel kinda bad that I just completely forgot it existed for a while lol.

No finished pieces or practice pieces I like enough to post so doodle I made in class yesterday.

Why the hell did I think having three writing classes this semester was a good idea? IM NOT EVEN TALING ANY CLASSES FOR ONE OF MY INTENDED MAJORS THIS SEMESTER! Granted one of my writing classes is a required course so i only chose two but still!

I haven’t been posting much recently because I’ve been busy so not making much art, hopefully I’ll post more soon.

They could believably be any gender, but based on clothes I’d say probably dudes, but I wouldn’t really be surprised if they were girls though. I think some of the confusion might be from the posing since people often will look at the chest for boobs when it’s hard to tell (not always good to tho).

They look pretty androgynous, but the bodies look a bit more masculine while their faces look a bit more feminine, still androgynous but like on a scale of feminine to androgynous to masculine those features would be on slightly different parts of said scale. Sorry if that was a bad explanation.

Also she currently has a pet skeleton equipped that came with the name Baby Boomer, it feels like it’s probably offensive but I honestly don’t care because it’s funny.

I love that as a kid before I knew what trans people were, I made my main wizard in Wizard101 the colors of the trans flag. I also unintentionally gave her a badass last name since I couldn’t read back then. Thank you kindergarten self. (She’s still my main, but she has a rainbow unicorn mount now.)

The end product ended up looking terrible but was so much fun that I love it anyways. Probably gonna use more guides on my canvas next time.

Really frustrated at my art so I decided to try to start drawing a bunch of boxes. I’ve been avoiding doing this despite how helpful I’ve heard it is because it seemed boring but it’s actually really fun! I’m just doing what’s visually noticeable on this one but my next batch will be the full cubes.

Thinking on it a lot of my struggles involve low confidence…

So far the hard part about posting art is feeling confident enough about my art enough to post it…

I just realized I’m gunna need to watch anatomy tutorials since I skill regressed from not doing any full bodies in so long… I just need a refresher and trying on my own is not helping so hopefully a video will.

I keep it in my closet so I forget about it a lot…

I just remembered I have an owlbear plushie I bought at a local comic/game store a couple years ago that I still haven’t named yet. The lighting sucks and I’m using my pillow to hide the mess that is my room but here’s the photo if anyone was curious what the stuffed critter looks like.

Me: I should practice drawing more than head busts because I need to get better at anatomy
Also me: I’m bad at drawing the rest of the body so I’m not gunna do that.

I just noticed I didn’t post this.
While it’s not perfect i noticed her colors were off so I edited it to make it better since it bugged me. It’s still off but it’s close enough it doesn’t bother me to look at.

Realized I haven’t posted any art in a week so I’m forcing myself to post something. This was a practice piece to get more familiar with alcohol markers since I don’t feel super confident with them yet. Anyways unfinished Karlach.

It wasn’t even a repost either, not that my stuff really gets reposted I just expect it’d be less weird to see.

I just learned that it’s weird seeing something I posted when I’m not specifically looking for it. Idk why it popped up while scrolling, especially given how little likes it has, but it was certainly a jarring experience.

I did end up kinda finishing it, got lazy with the background and just used a blank dnd character sheet since she’s a dnd character I haven’t used yet. If I ever remake this piece I’ll probably use one I’ve put her stats and other info on.

While I’m not entirely sure I like it as an art piece, it was fun to make and I definitely like it a lot more than any previous digital art pieces. It’s not finished and I dunno if I even will finish it, but I’m happy that I was able to have fun making it.
