Do you really think anyone would be stupid enough to seriously want AI to finish the books?

You realise this was a joke aimed at the fact that Martin seemingly has little interest in finishing the books, don't you?

If AI can write similar prose to GRR Martin, can we get it to finish the fucking series?

It's an enigma...

I'm not too old too get the reference. I just like a different genre of music. So apart from the fact this cartoon is apparently referring to Fat Boy Slim, I have no idea what the song is.

Well fuck you Plex. I knew remote streaming was going to disabled for non-Plex pass users, but I didn't know it was going to stop me streaming even within my own network. Instantly, Plex has become absolutely useless. Jellyfin, here I come. #plex

Some might say that's the best place to watch Everton.

It's amazing how little I use my car since I bought an e-bike. Love it to bits.,

I'm inspired to listen to it again myself now while doomscrolling. Ages since I last listened to it, but I'm enjoying it a lot.

My first album was 'A Show Of Hands', so I'm a fan of the 1980s synth pop-rock era as well.

It's accurate... up to around 1980.

Oxford Town & Gown 10k. Man that was hot and uncomfortable. Kudos to the bloke that left a hose running. Chip time 47:55. #running

23:00 at Horspath parkrun this morning. My second fastest time there ever, and easily my fastest time since the middle of February The pace is returning, slowly.

First marathon completed and it felt pretty great. 4:53, very happy with that. My legs have now turned to jelly. Hopefully I can recover in time for Town and Gown next weekend. #running

My day was made this morning when a question I submitted for Tom Scott's Lateral podcast appeared on the show!

Yeah, 400ish home supporters sounds about right. Hereford, Chester, Kidderminster and Scunthorpe boost the average quite considerably!

Yes, and yesterday was 1400...

That w a typical turnout. City are one of the smallest teams in the division. United get all the attention.

I gave myself 75 minutes to run to Abingdon at a gentle pace, to hopefully arrive just as parkrun was starting. I timed it almost perfectly - I arrived less than 30s after the start. Overall did nearly 34km as part of my final long run. Legs very sore now! #loveparkrun

Certainly sounds British to me. Questioning his nationality is just not cricket.

It was perfect running weather today. A group of 5 of us did a lovely 31km slow run down the Thames Path. The pace was way slower than a marathon, but I think I would have managed that extra 11km with little bother. Legs stiff, but otherwise, I feel surprisingly fine about it.

That's unfair on Jonathan. He's a very good football writer. He's trying to look into why the younger generations aren't connecting with football like we used to, this might not be a solution that we like, but at least he tried to talk about it without sneering (too much).
