It is. We're at Anglesey today, and weirdly, there's hardly a bird on South Stack. What's that all about?
Somehow, I deleted the first post 🤷♀️🤔🙄

I'm looking forward to it. Promises to be a great day out
What a great day for you and Brian. There would have been several ticks for me amongst that lot!
It was indeed a great day. Lots of fun was had by us adults and the Key Stage 2 youngsters. We all behaved impeccably
That's amazing. I don't know how you do it. Three birds I'm yet to see this year. Maybe in Wales next week 🤞
Many things to say about the demise of Orbanism but the scale of his defeat is impressive. This is surely also a rejection of Trump & Vance. The threatened new era of official US interference in European domestic politics has got off to a satisfyingly calamitous start
BOOM!
South Australia's power prices have plummeted as they near 100% renewables, proving to the world that relying on wind and solar with battery back-up is possible, more reliable and costs people less.
THIS is how we avoid the next oil crisis.

I also enjoy seeing the mountain scenery. It lifts your spirits, but to climb for any length of time now would put a fear into me. That would be an endurance, not your blog. I love it, thank you
It was a great talk today, thank you. My sister came, too, and I'm happy to say her enthusiasm was renewed.
Looks like a great end to a day of birding
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm a WASPI. I wasn't told. I'm not a numpty and obviously, I would know if I'd been told, just the same as you would.
Well done for seeing the gull recently. Hopefully, it's put your bogey bird issue to bed. I've never seen one
I saw a number of Black Browed Albatross in the Falklands with the brilliant Andy Pollard (Top Man) as our guide. We organised this private tour as part of our Holland America cruise. It was our last stop before being confined to our cabin for 10 days on the Zandaam due to the new Covid virus.
I should think it's the highlight. How wonderful for you
Amazing stuff. Never seen or heard of Heather Twist, it's fascinating
Thank you. You've seen some great birds that many of us in Suffolk haven't seen. Enjoy your weekend in East Anglia
Sorry to hear that, Will. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and plenty of armchair birding. I'm sure there'll be plenty of folk offering to take you out for some seated birding, but holler if you're stuck.
Double yellow lines?
Join us on Tuesday 31st at 7:30pm at The Maltings Pavilion, Bungay (NR35 2RU) for an evening talk by Ben Potterton on the development of Dickleburgh Moor, journeying from wheat fields to wetlands (2019–present).🌿
Raffle, light buffet & bar available.
We're staying in Llandudno, so Great Orme, Morfa Madryn, Pensychnant, World's End, Burton Mere, Gronant Dunes, and Anglesey to name a few. I just hope we get some reasonable weather
I'm even more excited now as we'll be in N Wales in three weeks' time for 5 days. Thank you
Appalling behaviour.
The Power of Poetry with things falling apart and anarchy let loose, it was only poetry, he found, which had any use, so he reached for his copy of The Complete Works of Yeats and bludgeoned the President of the United States Brian Bilston
On World Poetry Day, here’s a reminder of the power of poetry and its potential to change the world.
In case there was any doubt that Reform loathe nature & rewilding, here’s Richard Tice opposing the new land use framework and saying:
“We should be maximising food production, not subsidising productive land to sit idle.”
Reform would be a disaster for nature. They need to be utterly defeated.
