I’m still on SENTRY - there’s another project I did some moonlighting on last year. Hopefully some more about that soon. But yeah, thinking about the future/post SENTRY.

I’ve had a week off work and I’ve been playing the following 3 games obsessively:
- Demon’s Souls
- Marathon
- Slay the Spire

There’s some kinda awesome overlap there giving me some ideas for the future!

The replay thing is a big deal. I hate how few open world games offer mission replays (or even any way to view past missions). It sucks that it’s something that tends to exist during development for debug and testing purposes but never ships ☠️

The millennial experience is growing up with the internet, and watching it go from a free, open, democratic, and eclectic ecosystem to a wasteland of five websites controlled by billionaires, and now seeing it quickly fill up with AI-generated slop.

I want our World Wide Web back.

A 360 with a big library is a disaster now. So damn slow.

Somewhat unexpected, but I'm actually really into Marathon. First game in a while where I've been itching to get back in and have "one more go".

Although I much preferred Burton’s world, Schumacher created something really cool and unique in this one - you can feel his design school roots. Absolutely fucked it in the follow up though 😅

Yeah, it’s discovery too. Over the last couple of years I’ve been finding new bangers from the past without the need for it to have been delivered through a TV show or in slowed down form on a car advert.
