Bakudou No. 38 - Amnestic Pillows Hinamori Momo deserved so much better than whatever hand the fates dealt her. Matsumoto Rangiku knew that her fellow lieutenant was kind, loyal and caring. With those traits came a certain level of naivety that had allowed a truly evil being to manipulate the younger woman's heart in such cruel ways. Yes, Rangiku had her own reasons to despise the former 5th Squad Captain all her own, but seeing the sweet, innocent Momo so hurt physically and emotionally after the Arrancar invasion incensed her further. With resolve to help sooth her fellow lieutenant's soul, Rangiku delved into a research she had well and truly neglected since her early officer days; Kidou. At first, she had focused on Kaidou as if healing the soul's physical self would somehow help Momo move past her ex-captain's betrayal. Physical healing would clearly not sooth the painful memories, but then the well-endowed Shinigami had discovered a different approach. Bakudou, or sealing spells, to seal off the demons that haunted Momo's heart and finally let Rangiku see her sister-in-arms smile again.
