I have obviously sworn so many times when I’m dictating notes, that when I say the word “flux”—which I say a lot in the novel I’m currently writing—my Mac automatically translates it to “fuck.”

I picked a bad time to keep caring about my country.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorite underrated films.

I once nearly drove Val Kilmer over a cliff, driving him to ADR for the Doors because his house in HW Hills—the dirt drive was barely wide enough for a car. We survived. Whenever he was in LA, he’d call me to get together to talk ideas. He was weird. Intense. And very funny. RIP, Val.
