This is my favorite excerpt from a U.S. Census log. The year is pretty easy to guess. But who can name the address?
Shoot-em-up Christians like Pete are drawn to the PF scene where Julies kills the dudes, but smarter ones recognize that it is tied to the exchange between Jules and Ringo in the diner where Jules tells Ringo he's the weak, while he is the tyranny of evil men but is trying hard to be the shepherd.
So which chapter of the contracts law hornbook is most relevant: Formation (there never was a cease fire agreement)? Breach (someone broke the cease fire agreement)? Discharge (we no longer have to obey the cease fire agreement)? Or rescission (there should no longer be a cease fire agreement)?

Trump's definitely not a member of the SCOTUS bar, so just think of him being told, politely, that it's time for him to leave.
Note the interesting ACP question involving who provided the fake caselaw to the offending attorney. The majority treats it as a confidence; the dissenting judge does not.
There is now a DHS press release about his death - which says absolutely nothing about his assistance to special forces. Instead, it is a cookie-cutter story that treats arrests as convictions, branding him a criminal in the first sentence (citing only arrests). www.ice.gov/news/release...
Trump DHS uses investigations the way a drunk uses a lamppost - for support, not illumination. After weeks of condemnation for what Noem said after Renee and Alex ere slain, ICE has gone from immediately blaming victims to using references to investigations to avoid admitting what is obvious.
A lot of gut punches this time.

The real hero of the hour was Joe Neguse. Do you know how hard it is to explain: (a) no-bid contacts v.competitive bid contracts; (b) company incorporation; and (c) sub-contracting in FIVE minutes. As an Admin Nerd, I lost my mind.
DOJ's "no prejudice" claim is nuts. The motion seeks to resume an effort to reinstate EOs that - until the Plaintiff firms won - caused proud firms to cower. So long as DOJ can raise the prospect of reversing its losses below (and thereby revive the cowering phase), protected speech will be chilled.

They won't help me survive
My chest is aching, burns like a furnace
The burning keeps me alive"
I don't think Trump came up with "readjudication." More likely, he told someone he wanted to take a mulligan, or get a "do over," and and it was left to an intern to translate it into SAT English.
Except the "war" used to distract TV viewers in the film was a hoax, choreographed and filmed on a backlot.
This has nothing to do with fraud.
The agents Trump allegedly sent to investigate fraud are shooting protesters and arresting children. His DOJ is gutting the U.S. Attorney’s Office and crippling their ability to prosecute fraud. And every week Trump pardons another fraudster.
A good reason prior presidents did not name as ambassadors people convicted of felonies is that host nations still have the right to protect their citizens from the risk of harm. A Trump pardon does nothing to lower or eliminate that risk.
