Yeah, in my own work it's really useful for things like e.g. writing a bunch of variations on a basic t-test, or generating many different queries on standard sets of tables. Things that absolutely no one is worried about plagiarism of and that require little creativity but lots of tedium.

I think it also just gives away the broader disposition of these people. They don't care about getting things done. They care about not getting criticized and being seen as superior. Actually doing useful work of any kind is distasteful to these chuds.
