i'm feeling this pain now after spending months making my app in silence π
The back-and-forth between creators and editors about b-roll takes a lot of energy.
That's why I created Video Asset Manager. It uses AI to analyze your library, and later, when you need b-rolls for a video, you just describe the clip you are looking for.
I used to waste hours looking through folders for the right B-roll.
And sometimes I'd just give up and redo the shot instead π¬
That's why I built Video Asset Manager.
It lets me describe what I need, and AI finds the clip for me in seconds
I was tired of spending hours scrubbing through B-roll folders, so I built Video Asset Manager.
It uses AI to analyze your footage and find b-roll clips!
Join the beta testers and give it a try, because every minute you waste searching is a minute you're not creating ;)
What if you could get back 3 hours per video?
That's how long adding b-roll used to take me. But now Video Asset Manager helps me find the best clips in just a few minutes.
I'm looking for beta testers to give it a try and help me improve it further.
YouTube implementation of autodubs and title translations is so stupid.
UI is in Portuguese > they translate video titles (with terrible translations).
i switch the UI to EN > now it autodubs most Portuguese videos to EN by default.
it's a pick your poison decision π€
lots of companies buying undisclosed tweets.
but that's a terrible idea because you just need 1 or 2 people exposing to burn the company's reputation
about Claude's 4.6 release, i noticed an almost immediate flood of people saying they have been using the model recently.
this looks like a better marketing effort for the launch than before and i find it interesting.
i keep seeing people posting about openclawd (clawdbot or whatever), but i haven't seen it do something really useful worthy of the hype. what am i missing?
Substack isn't the place to build your online home.
and i got annoyed with their hypocrisy suggesting Substack is a solution for creators to have "their own land" while talking about the TikTok ban π
it isn't.
you can read my opinion in the article below π«‘

i think the algorithm needs to be better than it currently is. i barely discover interesting content unless i follow the person
πΆοΈ hot take: Substack will fail in the long term πΆοΈ
Substack is trying to become the Facebook of newsletters.
it's super hard to build a recognizable brand there as they shove their branding everywhere.
Substack isn't the answer to "owning" an online space.
Substack is trying to become the Facebook of newsletters. it's super hard to build a recognizable brand there as they shove their branding everywhere.
companies putting AI tools everywhere is silly and annoying, so i wrote about it in my newsletter (shared on LinkedIn)
how are you currently sharing longer posts on BlueSky?
i got used to writing long posts on Twitter and LinkedIn that it now feels weird to go back to threads π
This app looks interesting for using AI locally.
The funny part is that this announcement came out 1 hour after my predictions video for 2025 (and this is 1 of them π)
Probably late to the party, but I made a 2025 predictions video :)

Don't do this if you want to grow your newsletter.
This is spam, goes against the terms of services of any email provider, and the cherry on top is that it's probably illegal.
Massive red flag and bad advice π©
congrats Justin π₯³
Now, I want to take a leap of faith and dedicate the next few months to improving my video skills further and growing my own YouTube channel. LFG πͺ
I got a lot better at making videos while helping grow the company's YouTube channel. And as a "parting gift", I was so proud to see the channel reach 100,000 views in 2024.
At the end of 2024, I left my position at SEOTesting after (almost) 3 years.
I'm thankful to Nick for his trust and support over this period π
when you have an idea, write it down or record it.
i have lost count of how many times i had an idea or well-formulated thought but can't remember it later when it's time to develop it π€‘
after what feels like forever, i'm publishing videos on my YouTube channel

this also has the potential to improve attribution on current sponsorships so we don't have to wait for any legal outcome or future developments for this story.
fellow creators: regarding the Honey situation, I think we should email companies and suggest terminating Honey's affiliate accounts.
what Honey did probably goes against most of the affiliate programs, hurting the companies and creators at the same time.
Tyler wrote about this the other day. their sign up flow incentives these inflated numbers
