I think there’s so many good beginner tools out there now that it’s worth a shot!!

I’d find songs I really like/know well. Then printing out the sheet would help me match the notes to what I was hearing

A lot of my piano playing growing up was first by ear, then I’d study the sheet and figure out how I’d refine it.

I used to know the piano to an extent, but just like everything else in my life- losing access to one & not being able to practice made my brain go “if you don’t need this, I’m just throwing it out.”

Knowing how to read sheet music is like knowing a second language, but one that’s largely useless unless you are proficient in an instrument or want to impress someone that’s really into Mozart.
