The October 1964 General Election.

“Steptoe and Son” moved from its regular slot of 8pm to 9pm, for one week.

Labour Leader Harold Wilson had requested the schedule change so did not clash with polling! 😆

GE polling hours were not extended to 10pm until 1970.
